Span Houses are always popular on these pages, so with that in mind, check out the 1950s Eric Lyons-designed Span House on the Cator Estate, London SE3.
You will find it at the (equally) popular Cator Estate, with the house and estate dating back to 1958. Affordable modernism ahead of its time.
The house itself is a mix of the old and the new, with the old probably winning out. But overall, this is very much something of a blank canvas.
As for layout the open-plan living space is accessed via a ‘well-proportioned’ entrance porch, which has solid oak flooring throughout as well as a large picture windows boosting the natural light.
